The Ried Neusetzberg is best known as the home of Krispel's award-winning Sauvignon Blanc. But this volcanic site also produces Grauburgunder of remarkable depth and complexity.

On the lean, barren soils of the Neusetzberg, Pinot Gris is forced to work. The result is a wine that has none of the soft complacency of a Pinot Grigio and everything of the power and minerality that the Vulkanland volcanic terroir gives to patient, concentrated old vine fruit.

Nutty, herbaceous and complex on the nose. Concentrated stone fruit and exotic yellow fruit on the palate with great length and a precision that rewards patience.
