If the Solo is the introduction, the 2022 Saperavi is the deeper conversation. Same grape, older vines, and this time the wine spent up to twelve months in French oak barrels, which adds a layer of warmth and toasty spice on top of the dark fruit underneath. Blueberries and black plums with something warm and smoky behind them. The kind of red wine that is genuinely good with a slow-cooked lamb or a strong cheese. Just 2,900 bottles.
