Pink bubbles that mean business.

The Pinot Noir Rosé Winzersekt is everything a sparkling rosé should be and rarely is. Made the traditional way, with a second fermentation in the bottle, it has the depth and elegance that most rosé sparkling wines never quite reach. Beautiful pale salmon in the glass, wild strawberry and raspberry on the nose with a subtle hint of brioche, fresh and lively on the palate with fine bubbles that linger long after the sip.

It is brut, which means dry with just the softest edge, enough to make it feel celebratory without tipping into sweetness.

Open it before dinner, alongside smoked salmon, light starters or simply on its own with good company. It works for every occasion and makes any occasion feel a little more special.

German sparkling wine has been quietly getting very good. This is proof.

Dr. Josef Köhr

Weingut Dr. Josef Köhr has farmed the same corner of the Pfalz since 1648, making it one of Germany's most historically rooted family estates. Under the current generation, red varieties now make up half the range, oak ageing has been extended, and a new Syrah signals a producer with one eye firmly on the future. Sixteen hectares at the foot of the Pfälzerwald, farmed with the confidence that comes from nearly 400 years of unbroken knowledge.
