Huit Launay 2023 is a captivating natural red from the Loire Valley, blending Gamay, Côt (Malbec) and a touch of Chenin. Juicy cherry and kirsch meet a velvety palate, lifted by gentle menthol freshness and a subtle forest-floor character.

Carbonic Gamay adds vibrancy, Côt brings depth, and Chenin offers finesse—making this an easy-drinking yet distinctive Loire red. Ideal for cosy evenings, relaxed dinners or a simple cheese-and-charcuterie night. A brief one-hour decant enhances its aromatic clarity.

Food pairing

Goes well with roast chicken with herbs, mushroom and thyme pasta, roasted pumpkin with feta and chili oil, spiced root vegetables, pork tenderloin, or a cosy board of charcuterie and aged cheeses.

Note: Huit-Launay is a natural wine with minimal filtration, which helps preserve its texture and flavor. As a result, some sediment may be present in the bottle; this is completely normal and does not affect the wine’s integrity.

We recommend allowing the wine to settle for about an hour after opening, and leaving a small amount of wine in the bottle to avoid transferring sediment into the final glass.
