The Blanc de Blancs Winzersekt from Dr. Josef Kohr is made the same way as Champagne, with a second fermentation in the bottle and 36 months of ageing before release. That patience shows in every glass. Fine, persistent bubbles, brioche and ripe pear on the nose with a hint of apricot and citrus blossom, creamy and elegant on the palate with a clean dry finish that makes you immediately want another sip.

It is made from three white varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Auxerrois, all grown on the same estate in Ruppertsberg. The result is a sparkling wine with real depth and personality, not just bubbles for the sake of bubbles.

Open it as an aperitif, alongside seafood, oysters or light starters, or simply because the moment feels right. At 12% it is light enough to drink before, during and after dinner without thinking too hard about it.
